About TipidGas
TipidGas is a community-powered fuel price tracker built for Filipino drivers. We pull weekly reference prices from the Department of Energy and let drivers log what they actually paid at the pump — so you always know where the cheaper liter is near you.
How it works
We seed station data from OpenStreetMap and weekly DOE bulletins, giving every city a baseline to compare against.
Drivers log their fill-ups on the TipidGas app — a photo of the pump or receipt is all it takes.
Crowd-verified prices propagate across city, province, and brand pages so everyone benefits from the community's data.
Who we are
TipidGas is built by a solo founder based in the Philippines, with a goal of making fuel prices radically transparent. We don't sell fuel, we don't take a cut — we just publish what's there.
Data sources
- Stations — OpenStreetMap, with admin-boundary (OSM) backfill for city and province.
- Baseline prices — DOE weekly bulletin reference prices.
- Community prices — User submissions via the TipidGas mobile + web app.
Help make prices transparent
The app takes 10 seconds to log a fill-up. Every price you add makes the map more useful.
